9 Least Picked Legends In Apex Legends

Table of Contents

Legend pick rates are a good way to figure out which characters are doing well and which ones need to be changed. Legends who get picked less often may have been nerfed too much or are having problems that have kept them from getting picked. Some of these legends were picked up a lot when they first came out, but as players moved on to other legends, that number has slowly gone down.

Players thought Mad Maggie should get a buff because she wasn’t getting picked up very often. Since her release in Season 12, her pick rate has been steadily going down. If a legend’s pick rate is much lower than average, it usually means that their kit needs to be changed.

Rampart

Rampart

On paper, Rampart is a strong legend who can build walls that stop enemies from shooting at you. Rampart’s problem is that she is too situational and doesn’t have any abilities that let her push enemies. Rampart can’t move around at all, and her walls take a long time to build.

She got a buff to help make up for the fact that she didn’t get picked up very often, but it was only temporary. Rampart has the lowest pick rate in Apex Legends, at 1.4%. This means that she is the least likely to be chosen.

Newcastle

Newcastle

Newcastle is a strong legend who brings a lot to his team. His ultimate is very helpful, but it’s hard to plan and use in most situations. His ultimate can also be easily stopped by stronger legends like Caustic and Horizon. Newcastle’s tactics are great, but they can’t make up for the fact that he can’t move around and is easier to hit.

Newcastle’s pick rate has slowly gone down since he was released, which has led fans to ask for a buff to make Newcastle playable again. His rate of being picked is 1.4%, which is the same as Rampart’s.

Gibraltar

"</figure

Gibraltar used to be the best legend for pro players, but that has changed quickly. She has been used less since Slope Game got new legends that can fight against him. Gibraltar’s Dome Shield is useless because Mad Maggie can easily counter it. Seer also has a good way to deal with Gibraltar. With his tactical, he can stop Gibraltar from healing or reviving himself without putting himself in danger of a bubble fight.

Gibraltar’s pick rate is 1.6%, so he is not the worst. Gibraltar’s chances of being picked by players will keep going down unless his skills are improved.

Catalyst

Catalyst

In Apex Legends, players rarely choose defensive legends because they prefer legends who can move. Catalyst is different from other defense legends in how she plays because her abilities let her switch between offensive and defensive styles.

Catalyst’s weakness may be that her Ultimate doesn’t stop all of the scan legend’s abilities. This leaves her defenseless against a Seer with allies, who can use all of the scan legend’s abilities. Improving her Ultimate will help her pick rate, which is only 1.7%, and will go down even more since it came out in season 15.

Seer

Seer

Seer ruled the meta in Apex Legends until he was nerfed in season 16. This made his pick rate drop by a huge amount. Seer because fans asked for it, since his ability to scan was too powerful and had no downsides. Seer’s pick rate dropped to 2.1% after he was nerfed.

The fact that the rate of picking up items has dropped so much could mean that Seer’s nerf was too harsh, or it could just be a temporary change. Seer still has powerful scan abilities, but they have been changed so that they are easier to play against.

Revenant

Revenant

Revenant was a powerful legend. With his ultimate, teams could easily beat any other team with a fast, coordinated attack. Due to a nerf in Season 10, Revenant’s ultimate was made weaker, which made it easy for other players to stop it. The loud sound that the Revenant’s ultimate ability makes it easy for enemies to wait for players coming back from the Death Totem.

The Revenants’ tactic is strong because it stops enemy players from using their skills. Players can get the most out of their kit if they know how to play Revenant. Revenant has a 2.1% chance of being picked and is currently on a slow rise.

Caustic

Caustic

For a long time, Caustic was the only one who could beat him in fights inside. His gas gave him control over buildings and made it hard for enemies to move without a well-thought-out plan. Caustic’s nerf in season 12 allowed players to prematurely break his gas canisters.

With this change, players could push Caustic players inside and didn’t have to wait for their gas canisters to run out. This made Caustic’s chance of being picked up go down to a low of 2.1%, but his ultimate is still very strong.

Vantage

Vantage

In Apex Legends, it’s helpful to be able to carry a sniper rifle at all times because many fights start at a distance in Slope Game. Her tactics are great because they give her the ability to move quickly and change where she is. Vantage’s ultimate is powerful, but to get the most out of it, players need to hit shots in a row.

Her Ultimate is like other sniper rifles, but it still needs to shoot at the same time to shine. Her pick rate is 2.3%, and it could go down as players choose weapons with shorter ranges.

Wattson

Wattson

Wattson is a strong legend in competitive play because she can counter many abilities and laws. Her fences are great for keeping enemies out and closing off areas. Wattson is a defense legend who can’t move, which makes her hard to fight outside.

Many players might not want to learn more about Wattson’s skills because of how defensive she is. Wattson’s chance of being picked up is 2.4%, and it’s been slowly going up since her last buff.

Apex Legends is now available on mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
